About Matt
Matt Beard is a reinsurance executive with extensive experience in MGA/Program business, based in Dallas, TX. He joined Howden Re is Managing Director in June 2022, currently responsible for leading Howden Re’s US Program business. During his twenty years of experience, he’s spent time in the US and London markets. His experience includes working for all stakeholders in program business, including, but not limited to State National Companies (2016-2018), Guy Carpenter (2018-2022), BMS Group (2006-2011) and Assure Holding Group (2011-2016). He received a BBA in Finance from Texas Christian University.
