About Kim
Kim Ho Lo, FCAS, MAAA – Joined Howden Re as Managing Director in June of 2024. He is an entrepreneurial actuarial and insurance executive with over 24 years of experience in building and developing new start-up actuarial departments and functions. Prior to joining Howden Re, Kim Ho Lo was Chief Actuary at Obsidian Insurance leading the pricing, reserving, risk management and data analytics at the start-up hybrid fronting carrier. Before that he was Pricing Actuary at Blackboard Insurance responsible for middle market pricing. Previously, he was Vice President and Senior Pricing Actuary at Sompo International in charge of pricing for Casualty, Property, and Specialties line of businesses. Prior to that he was actuarial consultant at Perr & Knight and Senior Actuarial Analyst at Zurich.
